What this policy covers
This policy covers the marlosolutions.com website only. Our products, including Clinote, have their own privacy policies covering the data they process. If you use Clinote, please refer to the privacy policy available at www.clinote.co.
What we collect
This website is a static site. It does not set cookies, run analytics, use tracking technologies or ask you to create an account. Browsing the site sends us no personal data.
The only personal data we receive through this website is what you choose to send us:
- Email enquiries. If you email hello@marlosolutions.com, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the contents of your message.
Our hosting provider may record standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and operational purposes. These logs are not used to identify visitors.
How we use your data
We use the information in your emails to respond to your enquiry and for any follow-up correspondence you ask for. Our legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).
We do not use your data for marketing, we do not build profiles, and we never sell personal data.
Sharing and international transfers
We do not share your personal data with third parties, except for the service providers that operate our email and website hosting. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own contractual and legal obligations. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep your data
We keep email correspondence for as long as is needed to deal with your enquiry and any ongoing relationship that follows from it, after which it is deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete your data;
- object to or restrict our processing of your data;
- receive your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@marlosolutions.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this website handles personal data, we will update this policy and revise the date at the top of this page.
